Walk - LH si (sacroiliac) joint (as I'm told it is - hip/ buttock pain) really painful & sore today . FED UP.

Had some issues in fields with MOD OOB areas, flooded gates, & irate farmers, so had to reverse out. oh well made it a decent length!

No calf pain at all. Which is great. (back less great). But no way could/should I have attempted the JK. At peace with my decision. 100%.

Walked for over an hour (to try to help horrible back - "keep mobile" they say) in mainly "rain"/mud (Pur Down etc); & realised that i was actually poorly yesterday, not hungover. Felt awful by the end. Hanging.

wet & cold; back /hip still bothering me.

On AirBNB duty all w/e. It's my only way to break even now. I do love doing laundry.

Swimming - mostly front crawl - my core is terribly weak; really struggling & probably overdid it.

Also some backstroke. Some breasttroke which i'm not really supposed to do. I'm trying to help my ailing back, & strengthen my core.

I really need to do more rehab on my core/abs - never known myself so weak - like there's a hole in my stomach :-( this is all from the operation over 8 months ago & not doing enough rehab in the autumn (when i was ill for months).

Terrible day - can't just be from 3.5 pints last night. Or can it? Bed in afternoon & evening plans wiped out. Felt ghastly.

Indoor climbing at Bloc - was super careful and didn't aggravate my calf muscle this time - it seems to be on the mend. But this means nothing.

But lower back / LH hip still really giving my pain - I'm calling this a "flare-up" now, as it's something I can't just hope goes away / run though.

Cycled to town & back etc. Out with Paul @ Windmill pub (his 50th celebs) - good night - 3.5 pints the last 2.5 pints were only 3.8% - but things then went downhill & I had a really bad time next morning.

Lower back still in considerable pain - worse today than before. Had to lie down with hot water bottle, & took loads of ibuprofen. Shit.

Sod the calf (feels fine walking about now); this bad back - 3 weeks in total now - would have pushed me out of the JK.

Random & inexplicable end to any spring hopes in O or running.
