(injured) (sick)

Whilst staggering with a heavy box (coughing) from a friends house to my car, my left calf gave out slightly. It seems I now have a mildly pulled calf. That'll stop my training plan for this week eh!!!

(my sister once tore a calf so badly whilst carrying a TV that she was unable to go on the holiday the next day she'd booked, and remained in the UK).

Time for me to take some serious time out. I'm talking March at earliest.

Cough/ sinuses no better. Manuka honey now being recommended. Don't care how much it costs - I'd pay £60 right now in hard cash if it guaranteed me my health back.

On the bright side - at least I don't have to go to work tomorrow! (written Sunday eve)

Rang surgery - GP rang back & prescribed Codeine for pain, to help me rest effectively.

Codeine doesn't cure viral or bacterial URTIs, so I'll take it for 4 days then see her properly - tho it's looking likely this is a chronic long term virus and I may simply have to sit it out....

Felt OK yesterday, awful today.

If RashRoute is reading this - my greatest fears came back mate.

MOVED HOUSE (ie. removals men spent 4 hours moving stuff from storage unit to new pad. )

I won't sleep there yet tho. Still have Spanish "lodger" .... jeez .....

Hurt left buttock again, lifting a heavy box, back went "click," so that's a another reason NOT to RUN. Sigh.

Lurgy in remission today, but Liz is back in bed, she's been ill since January 4th.

Happy days.
