BOK Saturday series, Green, Leigh woods.
Crap. Dismal. Awful.
no 2- vile and probably well wrong. 1min+
No 3 - i train up that path, and where it was was not right. 1min
no 6 (traverse across grotty slope) - too far down hill, tho every1 suffered here so can't moan. 2:37 to do an 80m leg. Misery.
no 9 - took the red line marked route round OOB, which others didn't - so i attacked it from the known-map-is-shit-wod -even -worse bit. "lost" breifly, ; 1- 2mins.
no 14 - didnt' know where i was as I'd got to the big wall & couldnt' find a away to jump it. Binog. 1 min. Matt Whipple caught me 5 mins here. F**k.
Another really depressing run in Leigh woods, and didn't enjoy it either. Achilles a bit off colour as well, which was a surprise cos its been not bad recently.
Never mind.
Question: Do i do this sport to "do well" at something (I'm not bad for a 50 year old South western man - only Clive & Mark Saunders are ranked higher), or do I do it because I really enjoy it?
I'm starting to ask myself this a lot..... I need some runs in some lovely forests soon please.
