Gym 1:05:00 [3] 9.8 km (6:38 / km)
(injured) shoes: Brooks Ravenna 5

Gym. jogged there - took 2 mins.
15 mins x-trainer, (hip sore), 25 mins easy weights, 10 mins on running machine to 7 min miles, then a tedious and grim 15 mins on cross trainer to finish. Hmmm.

ON the plus side, no achilles pain.

Still, good to be doing exercise again after frankly 2 horrendous weeks (also lost the house i was buying yesterday) (and had offer on new one rejected).

I'm also suffering from cat-related sneezing & wheezing fits.

Good-oh. V50 can wait til 2015 methinks.

Note
(injured) (rest day)

BOK Mapping course, avon riding centre (scene of two of my best 10k cross country races in recent times)

INteresting day, everyone struggled with OCAD, so the facilitators had to go round each desk individually to try & sort us out, when really it would have been far better for them to have shown us using the OHP how to do things. Erik Peckett just said ".. and awy you go, start editting it!" and we were left at that. Hmmm.

spent about an hour trying to map the paths in the nearby Moorgrove wood - found it really hard! With Pete Maliphant & Matthew Owen. Apparently it takes 100km of walking & 56 hours to map 1square kilometre. OK............. Maybe when I've retired..... happy to check maps though.

Back quite bad today. Hmmm.

Running 18:00 [1] 2.0 mi (9:00 / mi)
(injured) shoes: Brooks Ravenna 5

Easy jog to see how buttock / achilles / left leg generally was.

Sadly it poured with rain properly - drenched - totally.

Achilles didnt' seem happy but left leg/ buttock was better than 2 weeks ago, so I can report that to the Osteo. I'm thinking at least another 2 weeks off "proper" running - will try cardio on Sunday & indoor climbing friday.

Settlign into Liz's house - tho very crowded with my stuff everywhere. Work busy.
