CSC Final - 6th.
Physically pretty tired from yesterday but still shifting pretty well on the flats and downhills, just had nothing on the hills or in the physical bits. Lost a lot of time on 6 and 11, both times really didn't rate the mapping, missing off key features, but also should just have been more switched on coming in to the circles and concentrating. Few other misses too. Still some good aggressive orienteering, just need to make sure the priority is keeping. in control of the nav. A better result was on the cards today but sometimes it just doesn't work out, perhaps just too much to do in a weekend.

British Fell Relays Leg 2 - team 4th (2nd fastest leg time).

Paired with Max which was class, so cool to be able to race together. Set out in 8th with teams to chase. Set off purposefully and moved up to 4th by Lost Lad, just nipping ahead of Ambleside. Got some good lines through 3 and 4, gradually dropping everyone else and keeping sight of Keswick ahead. Routechoice leg to 5 but stuck to my guns and was really happy with my line to the stream, then really tried to put the boot in up the last of the climb. Then all out for the finish to come in 2nd.
Felt really strong today, some of my best running of the season, leading Max along until the final drop to the finish field. We couldn't have done much more, 30s~ down on Carl and Lamby which we're stoked with and pulled out good time on the others. Such a good feeling racing hard with Waino. Team ran really well for the rest, such a tight race all the way but just missed out on the medals at the end. Great group to race, we'll be back.

Night sprint training with Mary (Ponderosa and City North). Relaxed pace but meant I was a little lax at times. All generally good though.
Also managed to get down a general summary of my season since returning from Aus if anyone's interested, good to get some perspective.
