Family parkrun before going to aunties. Set off well but lace soon came undone so then had to chase the lead again. Soon as I pulled what it went again causing another stop and then again later on. Only 2s off first and felt fine but nothing more than steady today, no top gear after working and lack of sleep. Enjoyed it though, just a shame about laces!

Long run out from home over the fields. Forgot my HRM and managed to stop and restart my watch on 6k. Pretty tired and grumpy, not enjoying it just clock watching. Stupid clarty mud made it a slog and I was just bored. Legs tired from gym and intervals.

Huncote Paarlauf reps in Littlethorpe. Paired with Kieran to begin with but he dropped out with his calf so the rest with Steven. Running really well tonight, high pace, good form and felt good. Very positive session as I thought I'd lost all speed, solo on them all but good reading on the splits.

Nice and easy out to fosse meadows for a couple of loops then home. Hr a bit high from being tired after some long work shifts the last couple of days and still think I'm fighting off this illness from the last few weeks. Very muddy on the fields!
