Easy with Joe to start in Rivelin. Knee has been a touch niggly this weeka dn wore my knee support just as a precaution today but it began niggling again so I stopped and turned around. Very long walk home from the bottom of Rivelin but I'd rather have a few days off than weeks or months. Plenty of rolling and stretching the next few days an no running until possibly even next weekend. Then I need to actually plan training instead of bumming around as I have been.

Give it a go fell run. As mountaineering had taken up the entire bus going out to the peaks, we had to do an impromptu run up porter instead. Freshers didn't see to mind. I still felt knackered and ill and knee was playing up so not much enjoyment on my end.

And now it all starts. Easy one in Rivelin up to the dam then back up fox hagg and on to standard from top path. Bit ploddy having been on my feet all day at sports fair and still now feeling great but much better.

Note

Absolutely knocked on my arse today, been chucking up most of the day and felt weak and tired. Wasn't just going out, pretty sure it was food poisoning from a suspect kebab. Pretty much freshers over for me though so time to start training and working again.

Felt rotten to start but got a bit better towards the end. Just a standard today, nieghbours had an all nighter last night which meant I got around 2 hours sleep and felt crap all day at the committee training down at Bramhall Lane. Dragged myself out the door with Woodley and Saville but just felt rubbish.

10mins ih warm up down to Joe's, 50min raz, really nice route heading out towards Beeley then 10 back up the hill. Bit tough after last week and last night and a few niggles from lax rolling. Good stuff though.
