Endcliffe Parkrun. Set out pretty hard with a guy in a Midlands vest who was flying and thought I could be dragged along as long as possible then just grind the rest for a time. Worked well, on him until the second time through the park where he was pulling ahead on the climbs. Wasn't massively sure what I was on for but just kept working back down the road and put a shift in from the gates to get the sub-16. Very happy to have gotten it, especially with it being on endcliffe which is a hard course and the weather was muggy and for me less than ideal. Thoroughly enjoyable argument with a guy at the end who had a go at me for being rude because it isn't a run it's a race by asking him as I ran down the road to move left. Just laughed and ran off because they always tell people to run left and him and his dog took up the entire road.

Went and did 5x2mins(1min) in the absolutely filthy terrain at the top of Bingham. Hard work and tough going but a good one to get done.

Went and ran an open 3000 with Joe at the track. Pretty poor turnout with only 4 of us in the race. Set out steady and was solo from the front, then really just sat until the end and never felt like I was really working. Should have checked my watch more to make sure I was on pace but didn't really until the last 400 when even then I only really opened up on the last straight. Big win 30s ahead of Joe or so but disappointed. Should have been down much closer to 9 bit solo for my first track race and first 3k I have no reference point plus last night probably won't have helped. Felt like I could have ran it the same again after. A lot of improvement to come this season.

Totley Moor fell race, 4th.
Wore my heart rate monitor out-of interest and good to see I'm still pushing all the way. Good on the first climb settling with Matt and Steve but they pulled ahead a bit on the Moor. Felt like I was gaining on the downhill but was suffering on the 3rd and 4th climbs. Was lonely from 2k and got caught on 9k, only missed out on third but 6secs so a positive outing. Loved the race but still want to push on more on the later climbs which seem to be holding me back
