Bit of a struggle to turn the legs at the start, then over the fields to the scout camp and to the bottom of the hill at the Court.

On the hill from my old work, decided on 8 reps of 400 (+20m), which were suitable hard. First few flew by then ditched my top because it was drenched. Thunderstorm came but kept working, bit surreal to only be in shorts when it was roasting but also bucketing down. Gave myself an extra minute at the top on the 4th recovery. Sets were essentially up at a hard tempo, then walk to float back down. Each rep was roughly 1:30 but didn't really look at recoveries.

Keeping with the theme of trying to bully myself in to shape. Started out ok, but everything just felt really alien, movement etc just doesn't feel natural. I guess this will come but meh. Moved through the fields to scout camp, then claybrooke, then bittesby medievil village, then ullesthorpe, ashby, home. Not a bad pace but felt very sluggish. Feet sore by the end. I feel like it's upper body holding me back a bit.
