Distances and times for warm up/down as I forgot my garmin despite charging it this morning for today! Jogging around assembly and parking, before trotting to the start. Drills and stretching included.

As I said, I didn't have my garmin today despite charging it, so distance is worked out old school with a ruler and a pencil (not totally accurate). I'll try and update it if I can from route gadget at some point.
Pretty easy course but with some nice variation and one or two intricate bits and changes of direction. Sat off a little in the middle section and never really pushed on it, but felt like I had a little more in the tank. Running felt sluggish to begin with, never really developing a comfortable turnover or style. Good orienteering though, flowing well, only one or two slips, confused by description numbers so wasting time at controls and heading out the wrong way on one or two. No more than 10 seconds loss I don't think on any though. 3rd behind Matt E (6secs) and Will (40secs), so pleased to see I haven't actually lost that much leg speed, and orienteering was good. O-Ringen will be vastly different, but a nice confidence boost being so close to those two.
