Running (Warm up) 15:00 [2] 2.0 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 x-talon 212

Steady jogging and drills, god it's hot.

Orienteering (LEI Fineshade) 1:19:10 [4] *** 12.08 km (6:33 / km) +110m 6:16 / km
ahr:166 max:183 23c shoes: Inov-8 x-talon 212

LEI Fineshade EMOA League- Brown- 9.4km 110m

Wasn't particularly optimistic because Dad had ran here before and he said it was just grot.
Started ok, headed straight, slight slip going to the wrong one on the way but found it fine. Straight up the ride to 2 then along the path and cutting in to the open for 3. straight to 4, then back through the start to 5, first proper slip, overshot and hit the ride but found it ok after. Really poor to 6, got the wrong path and lost maybe 1-2mins dicking about in the wrong wodds (caught finn by 5-6mins at this point), then righted it and pushed on. Poor entrance to 7 so lost another 1:30 ish maybe 2 on this but just couldn't distinguish between to veg so a bit annoyed at the mapping. But then again it's a very tough area to map. headed to 8, another mistake cutting in too early and losing more time, I'm not sure how much. On to 9, hard as i had to force my way through thorns around the fence, bad route then couldn't find it in the circle, lost more time. Knew i had to get my head in gear so swithed on for 10 and nailed it, same through 11 and 12. Good bingo control on 13, got it bang on. Lost 30 seconds on 14 because of my compass. 15 crafty behind a tree but got it ok, hard control on 16, it was too far up the stream. On to 17 again found it fine then straight to 18 good again. Decent compass work on 19 found the ride fine, tired when i got there. Poor on 20, caught dada at this point, about 9 minutes. Poor rout to 21 but recivered well and headed off. Straight to the last 2 and finish.

tired and annoyed at the area, it was disgusting with fairly poor mapping (no fault of the mapper). Should have hit sub 70, Ed N got in in around 71 but I mean I wasn't with it today. Between 5 and 9 i was just not there. Need to sort it.

Cross Training (To Croft) 27:07 [3] 11.33 km (2:24 / km) +50m 2:21 / km

Nice cycle over to the hill for some hill work, legs felt weird, couldn't get them going really.

Running (Croft Hill) 40:52 [4] 6.98 km (5:51 / km) +175m 5:12 / km
shoes: Inov-8 f-lite 195 (BR)

Doesn't look particularly fast but only made myself work on the hills, felt ok, hills were steep though, 60-70% gradient at times. Would do more analysis but it's not needed.

Cross Training (From Croft) 29:04 [2] 11.34 km (2:34 / km) +40m 2:31 / km
shoes: Inov-8 f-lite 195 (BR)

More leisurely ride home, feeling a bit tired.

Running (Dunton Long) 48:55 [3] 9.9 km (4:56 / km) +101m 4:42 / km
shoes: Inov-8 f-lite 195 (BR)

Ran with dad until Dunton after my driving lesson, then peeled off and off the rolling hills to Broughton, then through the fields and Leire. Quite enjoyed it, a bit chilly but got it done. Bit of a lack of speed work this week but i think it's done me good to ease off. No shifts next week so I can put decent work in to training.

Running (Cross Country) 43:48 [3] 9.27 km (4:43 / km) +75m 4:32 / km
shoes: Inov-8 f-lite 195 (BR)

Cross country training with school, felt bone dead tired, I think I might be getting ill to be honest, no energy and heads all over the place when running, not really enjoying it much at the minute. Some new routes might help so I'll look for a few in the next couple of days.

Steady, very uninspired and a bit boring. Fields still a bit soft and hard to move. Felt tired after the last week or so.
