Another successful run without my knee support. Found it tough on the climbs and calves are still pretty dead at the end of road runs but positive with no pain and feeling comfortable at this pace on the roads.

Long Run with Harriet, both fancied a revision break, pretty easy for the first 4-5 then extended efforts along the fields. Found it tough in the weather, very hot and dusty, felt a bit tired as well, looking forward to this weekend, maybe a 10k and head out on a 20km run at point.

Easy trundle over to frolesworth and then through just a little to start of time trial. Felt pretty heavy and trudgy but determined for the trial.

To be honest, I'm fairly happy with the time, considering I've had maybe 3/4 weeks proper training in the last few weeks after coming back. Headed down the road from frolesworth to broughton before swinging down the winding road back down to leire. Felt pretty good and sprightly depsite the warm up feelings, this continued for the first 1900/2000, so positive here. Began to feel very sluggish and form slipped on the last k, losing a little time here probably. Nasty head win down the lanes, not too strong but enough to be off putting. Also some slight but long inclines so time maybe could push 9.50 on a good day. Lovely weather, could have done without the wind but pleased overall. Core and arms felt weak so going to have to work on this a bit and would be interesting to get down to a track and get a proper time.

Pretty tough run, shaking out the ill feeling after my exams today, felt poor afterwards. Ran pretty hard, felt ok, but calves are completely shot now.

Calves felt absolutely shot, was a real struggle to keep going. very hot as well, quick loop down to frolesworth then ashby parva, loop down back lane to finish. Hard work today.
