Nice long ride, getting it out of the way for a day blasting through revision, 1st exam tomorrow. Headed out, Ashby parva, Ullesthorpe, Bitteswell, Lutterworth, Bitteswell, Dunton, Gilmorton, Walton, N Kilworth, Walton, Gilmorton, Ashby Magna, Dunton, Broughton then back to Leire. Bit of a trek and was very hungry at the end but really fun.

Lovely ride out for a revision break, very fast again and awful weather but thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fairly happy with the time as the wind was howling down the far straight. Lead the race from the off, setting a fast but comfortable pace then pushing on a little harder in the last 2 laps. Had a sprinter from another school sticking on my tail until the last bend where he put on a spurt, I had planned to kick as soon as it got straight but he went a fraction earlier and I realised a split second too late. Could/probably should have beaten him but am happy with 2nd and enjoyed the race.

Trying out the new bike (Indigo Vuelta AR1) have been itching for the last 2 days to get out and ride. Headed out frolesworth~ashby parva~leire~dunton~broughton~frolesworth~leire
First proper time on a road bike and I loved it, using this more in training. Quads felt pretty tired on hills.

Had stared at my eco text book until the words blurred so decoded it was time for a break. Very windy and rainy so this this bit wasn't fun bit thoroughly enjoyed the run (fields/woods) and found a new bit of terrain running to incorporate at some point. Pushed a bit harder than on recent weeks and found it both manageable and comfortable. Athletics tomorrow.

Wanted to get a decent length run in before the stress of exams really kicks in. They start on monday so training will probably drop after then.
Headed out through the fields on to the road the down and through frolesworth, cutting back on to the trails and headed out along to Fosse Meadows, same area as last wednesdays event. Headed out on a 3-4k lap round there and then easy cruise home doubling back on myself. Hills hit me a lot harder, gentle inclines over 400-500m really were quite tough. Still enjoyed it and a welcome bit of rain near the end.
Quite exciting, road bike came today so can go for some decent length cycles now.
Football tomorrow i it's on then county schools athletics on friday (1500m and High Jump)

Really tried to push myself tonight
6x250m flat out full pace then 250m really recovery after each one. Turns out that the fields are 250m round the middle section so kept looping that.
felt pretty good, knee and L calf were a tad niggly but other than that, felt pretty good.
Scorcher of a day, over 22 degrees.

Felt pretty good after yesterday/this weekend so pushed a little harder than i normally would after a run. Headed out through the fields and woods in to dunton then through it and back along the waterway. Lovely day but horrible amount of flies which almost ruined it, it was pushing 20 degrees so pretty warm.
