Absolute joke that the nov classic was cancelled, why plan such a big event ( a selection for england) in an area that could potentially flood. It's november in england, have a think SOC what happens oh yeah it rains, like you could forget. 140 odd miles both ways for bugger all so fantastic SOC great planning there. Anyway, after having sprinted back up north (for 2 and a half hours) i arrived about ten minutes before kick off. We started well, and made a few early chances but we were playing a premier division side so ww couldn't keep up the pace. They broke our defence on twenty minutes and the pitch was in horrible condition so it bobbled in front of our keeper so no fault attached. Awful pitch so slipped everywhere, ten minutes from the end i scored from about 25 yards in to the top corner. They then scored 2 more so ended 3-1 so a bit disappointing as we played better. Really annoyed still about the nov classic, grr.

Went for a run in pe, not much effort, a bit of recovery from yesterday and because i couldn't make x country because of parents evening. Still, feeling quite strong

Long run with hills after school. Comfortable pace up until the hill reps which i pushed pretty hardon
Times for hill reps (200m each) :

One minute recovery after each interval. Fairly consistent times except the second where i overcompensated slightly but no worries.
Bit of recovery after that, took it easy just cruised back along the trails.

Short run, just too ease it up really gently in to the end
