Orienteering race (Croeso day1) 1:14:26 [4] 6.2 km (12:00 / km) +240m 10:04 / km
shoes: Intergrators

First day of Croeso, felt good going out, first few controls were steady.I was first all the way through the first 10 controls and then made a 20 minute mistake on 11 so dropped of massively. This was very frustrating, but before that it was a good race and i felt strong.

Orienteering race (Fosse Meadows) 38:30 [5] 6.4 km (6:01 / km)
shoes: Intergrators

Felt really good running today. Fast parkland area really good for speed. Navigation was fine considering it was a master map (draw your own) and only did half then the other half, half way round. Felt solid and steady runnnig, with a good pace throughout. Was chasing dad and sister on the course so was pushing myself to over take. Race was solid with only maybe two minor mistakes. As i said, felt really good running today and am ready for the rest of the events this year. This was good race.

shoes: Adidas Response Cushion 19

Felt good running today, went for it a bit more than i usually do on this run and definitely am feeling the benefits. went out a bit earlier because busy later so was very quiet. Upper body felt good, slight ache in calves and felt the beginning of a blister coming but thankfully it didn't from so it's all good there. I can feel my endurance getting better when I'm running now and that was something I'd hoped to work on. Looking forward to the next few weeks events and Kincraig

Running (Warm up) 7:00 [3] 1.6 km (4:22 / km)
shoes: Adidas swoops

light mile jog around village for a warm up

Running (With map) 43:02 [5] 9.4 km (4:35 / km)
shoes: Adidas swoops

Felt fantastic running today. Despite not being on a course i was really focused on the map i was 'running'. Was really wet so was forced to wear my swoops, and surpisingly there was no aching pain in the side of my foot from them, so thats good. This was the best run i have had since injury and feel really good about coming events

Running (Warm down) 7:00 [3] 1.6 km (4:22 / km)

Same run as warm up, threw in a few running drills to keep me on my toes
