weight:153lbs shoes: Hoka Clifton 7

Honley Urban MapRunG race.

Right ankle still really sore causing a bit of limping.
Felt hard work today, but wasn't trying to push really hard. Just wasn't really feeling it today.

Urban Orienteering 39:55 [3] 9.1 km (4:23 / km) +500ft 4:03 / km
weight:152lbs shoes: Hoka Speedgoat 2 Yellow

Honley Urban MapRunG race.
Raining so opted for some Vibram grip from the Speedgoats.
Right ankle still aching. Right hamstring a bit tight. Left calf rather gippy.
Pushed and pushed, but found the hills hard work. A couple of stops to socially distance maybe 20s. Obviously found the navigation easy as this is a very familiar area for me.
Five legs where I could have taken a shorter legal route, but it wasn't marked as legal on the OOMap we are using. Will have a run round using my own OCAD map and see how much shorter I can make it.

Road running 10:00 [3] 2.0 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Hoka Speedgoat 2 Yellow

Warm up/down.

Trail running 1:05:00 [3] 11.3 km (5:45 / km) +900ft 5:08 / km

Round and about on the trails.
Right ankle sore and painful throughout the run.

Trail running 49:46 [3] 10.0 km (4:59 / km) +750ft 4:28 / km
weight:153lbs shoes: Hoka Challenger 5

Far end of Honley Woods and back (plus a little extra to make up the distance).
Approx 26:30 at turnaround.
Started off as steady run, but quickly turned into a tempo run.
One of those very, very rare days when my breathing was always in control no matter how fast my legs went. Such runs only come about once in a while, hope I made the most of this one.
Right ankle still stiff and aching.
