Track session at Linwood track on a cold, breezy evening. Just me and Euan running and he was running very well and I was miles behind on each rep. I thought that I would be feeling fresh after 3 days of no running, but the opposite happened. My legs were stiff and sore in too many places to mention and I suffered badly.
Session was 400m (100m easy jog in 1min) + 800m (200m not so easy jog in 90secs) + 1,000m (200m easy jog recovery in 2mins) + 1,200m (200m easy jog in 2mins) + 1,000m (200m easy jog recovery in 2mins) + 800m (200m not so easy jog in 90secs) + 400m (100m easy jog in 1min).
