Walk to Porcupine Rocks from where we were staying in Perisher Village (and back via a coffee shop). Nice to be in the Snowy Mountains - great views for the Rocks looking over Thredbo Valley. Nice weather as well - enjoyed the walk with Liz.

Short walk near Charlottes Pass to check out a ruined hut and the Snowy River - earlier walk was not enough for Liz.

Peloton of 6 - second in the hill sprint despite riding at the front at the bottom of the climb. Windy and cool conditions but still a fast ride - did a few intervals which pushed up the pace. Top speed was 49.1 kph - in a 50 kph zone.

Solid walk with the pooch - only stop was a swim in the dam - for the dog not me!

Shortish ride to Belco to catch up for coffee with Liz and her grannies after their ride. No Yoga today so needed to do something. Ride had a bit of climb up to a saddle near Cook/Aranda then mainly downhill from there to Belconnen (which is what many south side people consider Belconnen to be).

Paddy Pallin hair products event with Liz. Pulled stumps a bit early for the 6 hour as Liz had a sore hip after about 3 hours. Came third in Mixed Super Vets. Area was pretty easy going - large parts were open in the valley floor and many controls set with close access via tracks as the bush can be very green in parts. Nice weather and views - parts of the area familiar as have orienteered here - no navigation mistakes.
