10MILA 2015:
Pushing hard straight from the start to gain some positions, hitting #1 straight forward. A glance at the compass, leaving to the second control. Direction would have been perfect, but nobody was there in front of me so I instinctively followe all the others which lead to a black out after the other first control. Again passing a lot of runners but then again a stupid mistake to number six. (I was more focusing on passing runner than on reading carefully...) About three minutes of mistake at this part of the race. The following 50 minutes were great, felt little tired in the middle but the speed was good and I was losing only one more minute to the leaders until the finish.
Gernerally it wasn't the best terrain, especially the green made it hard to gain positions... The shape would have been good, now it's time to focus on the map reading part. Two weeks Finland ennen Jukola should help. :)
