Always a pleasure to run up through t h i s beautiful ravine.

Good race, keeping the pace easy at the beginning and catching up one by one on the way to the top. Fabulous race by Joey, he´s gonna take home quite some medals from his home JWOC, I assume...

Austrian relay champs. Good start, probably a bit too passive, resulting in a gap to the two leaders after #4. Trying to catch them again I got a good flow during the controls 6-7-8-9, actually too good: I've mentally already been on the way to #11 leaving #9.
#11 itself has been the real desaster. The first mistake was to run around hte swamp, the second one was the feeling beeing on the big path resulting in a totally wrong attack point.
Mapping and control placing at #21 clearly wrong.
