Lovely race though quite tough terrain. Coming to the wrong forking on the way to #3 but realised very quick which stone it was (even not going to the control...) and changed direction just in time not to lose the group.
Good loop 4-5-6, even leading the group shortly on the way to #7.
Biggest (and probabyl the only real) mistake of the day to #12. The area was confusing as it was open even though the map states sth else, losing the whole gap to the winner there...

Second in my heat, 30'' ahead of the "cut".
Really good legs, no mistakes, so I took it a bit easier on the last controls guessing that it might be enough for the final.

SM Sprintti - Finaali

Challenging course, especially at the beginning. According to Kimmo I've been only one of very few going lef to #1, but only lost 2'' there so it had to be a good choice, too.
Bad rc to #2/#10, losing some time there. Eventually losing fife positions down to #18 with a bad rc again. Good race anyway.

Good race almost until #9, then getting lost. (I know one should not blame the map, but it was shitty in some parts....) Mistakes to #11 and #13 stole some more motivation. Searching both short controls on the first butterfly loop of the 2nd map was too much - started focusing on the next day and went back.
