walking 1:30:00 [3] 5.0 mi (18:00 / mi)
shoes: INOV8 X-talons2

Flat woods walk with Lorene from her house. Beautiful day, lovely forest. Knee felt fine. Heel angry with new shoes.

Note

Sandy the PT goddess checked out my knee. Talus sits to the inside of where it should. Glutes inactive. Psoas tight. Result is that quad has to do all the work, patella shifts out and twists, knee turns in, stretches inside of knee, crunches outside of knee. Solution: activate glutes, stretch psoas, maybe an arch support, think about not letting knee turn in.

trail trotting 39:00 [3] 2.69 mi (14:30 / mi) +337ft 12:57 / mi
shoes: Salomon Fellraisers

Bleh. First trot since West Point. The good news is that my knee seems to have recovered. And the trails are dry. And I was out there.
