strength (full set of shoulders) 25:00 [1]

With a little bit of weight for some of the moves.
Rolled the piriformis (or 'hip rotators' is most accurate) on a tennis ball for a while. Maybe helped a little.

Walk with Dan. Down the Hornet's Nest, up the Stinger. We had started an assault on Near Point but some sprinkles chased us home to wait out the 'storm'. Decided on the local walk. I can't wait to tell all the other kids tomorrow that I learned how to tie my shoes (correctly) this weekend!

Note

Last night -- too exhausted by about 4 pm to either work or exercise -- being a slug by the fire at home, looked through AP discussions for something on how long I should expect a pair of shoes to last. Didn't find that answer, but got pointed to Ian's Shoelace site, where I learned why my shoelaces are always coming untied, even tho' I triple knot them: I've been tying them wrong all these years! So, today, I tied them correctly, didn't even double-knot them (unheard-of!!!), and went for our walk. Wet feet and round shoelaces and they didn't come undone!!! Hooray! What a revelation! And I even learned a knot that should make them secure enough I may not even tape them anymore!!

Walk with Dan. Lots of talk about an ugly stupid lawsuit and our friend Bob with a concussion that still has him down after 6 months. That and the flowers made me completely not notice the uphill. Or maybe we were just going slowly. Compared two routes out and back, and found the scenic narrow one is only 1 minute and maybe 800 feet longer than the ugly dog poop road route. I'll be opting for the pretty trail more often, esp when with others to help scare away the lurking beasts.

Walk with Dan. Still feeling a bit under-spritely.
