Excused myself from another day of cardio because of the smoky air resulting from 250 sq mi of forest on fire abt 80 mi west of us. We need to relocate our 'what to take when we need to evacuate' list that we developed about a decade ago. Our hillside is definitely vulnerable to a single bbq gone bad. The cat, photos, some original art, a few family items. And maybe store some stuff at the office for the summer...

Achey sore throat that's been coming on for a few days. Turned in a work product then went back to bed for 11 hours.

Nominal 5.7 km. nice terrain and nice running, esp relative to last week. Beautiful little oak ferns unfurling. I felt like I was reading terrain pretty well. (HRM clearly messed up. Maybe needs a new battery?)
