Up panorama to south fork rim, downhill to golden grass, up gg, and back down panorama and gas line. Very uneven crunchy surface, with occasional glare ice stretches, so slow going even on downhills and flats. Walked all the ups. A beautiful clear day with the brighter light of spring.A BBC documentary podcast for entertainment. Not a soul observed out there. must be home eating and drinking the SB Sunday away.

Ouch. To open up my log and see the invitation to 'Get started using your log!' The excl point is like a nice little smiley face, but still... I know it's justified. Trotted down to Campbell Creek--a bit by a back route -- then left and down the creek to where the trail splits. Then walked up the hill to the Wolverine intersection, trotted most of the way back down the main trail to the creek, then walked most of the way home. It was just feeling long and I was tired of trotting. Lots of almost-glare-ice. But I didn't feel bad. I'm failing on my pre-Portugal training, but doing the best I can and it's good enough. Short on sleep and emotional energy. Work has been exhausting, and this week will be worse, but then better. Applying today for a new position which I could take or leave.
HRM or my heart funky.
