Not much to say. Jogged round again with only minor discomfort. Nav was pretty easy, just getting a little complacent towards the end.

Salisbury City Urban Race - Mens Open 7.4km

No offence to any Sarum folk, (I don't know any) but this was one of the most dissapointing and boring events i've done. This was not Sailsbury city, they lied to us, it was Salisbury North housing estate. Just jogging round i was so bored that i couldn't face running round the last 8 controls in a park so retired.

I was raging on number 8 when i reached a gate through an uncrossable fence that was marked on the map but was locked. Yes the thick black line carried on through the gate symbol but why bother putting the symbol on the map in the first place?

Night Orienteering Training on Crickley Hill for the Royal Signals. Went along as it was very local to me.

Jogged round the 2.9km course painfree. (I have been doing a lot of adductor strengthening exercises this week).

Wasted quite a lot of time trying to adjust to the 1:6000 map. The course had been planned with lots of criss-crossing to potentially cause distractions but I was one of the first to set off so there was nobody to lead me astray.
