It occurred to me during this run that the last time I went over two hours in a training run was very likely sometime last year, maybe one in the winter of this year. And then I didn't care too much, aside from thinking I might well lose some hard won endurance fitness. But then I didn't care again. And then I thought about another marathon, and I really didn't care. I'd sooner go further than that on trails but not this year and maybe not in a race, maybe just cause the trail is there, you know?
