3 courses just over 2km straight line. A then B then head-to-head (behind) Willy on C.

Was doing okay. A few route-choice errors from not fully assessing the route. Wore my most cushioned trainers and shin gave no issues. A little left kneecap pain towards the end. Need to do some mid-length intervals but this was a good running workout too.

First one up the bike track. Couldn't find my usual second one as it was too overgrown and I got stuck in a brackeny brambly mess with lots of flies. Went over to the rocky one instead but found Ali Gardner half-way up so that got interrupted. Final rep up a zig-zag path before traversing onto the rocky one. First sunny run in over a week.

20 minutes terrain zig-zagging, 20 minutes slow and mopey, 20 minutes just slow. Not sure where my motivation has gone.

Note

Went to see about joining Coventry Godiva, don't know why I've never thought of this before seeing as I work there every Tuesday. But anyway I told them my lame 5k time and they said I would be at the front. Pretty poor considering they have a track and are in a city. There might a faster student group in term times.
