Didn't feel great before starting and couldn't get fired up for it. Think I ate too much for breakfast.

Cocked up 1. And saw Josh coming in as I was exiting, ran away for a bit but got caught at 12. Looking at Strava I'd say I went to #15 but don't think I punched properly. Scrabbling around with Josh through to the arena. Was putting effort into keep up then stupidly went to the drinks point by myself on the way to 31 then messed up after it. Steady in from there.

Set off decent to #1, bit rushed to number 2 and curved into it. Slogged to 4. Didn't get 6 very smoothly and then mess up on 8. Concentrated more around the next lot. Could tell I was tiring to 19 and didn't manage to push very well from there to the end, with some terrible compass on 23. 7 minutes is a looong way down. Some errors but clearly mostly running, hopefully will improve with more intervals. Need to get back on the conditioning as well.

Had a good fast start round 1-5 wobbled on 6 and then the wheels came off. Wasn't reading descriptions and got caught in every trap, was also slowing down. Need to think about routechoices which benefit from SI air. Pretty easy area. Didn't see the uncrossable wall beneath the purple on the way to 24...
