Good riding. Crashed on a jump. Not injured as I made full use of the whole left side of my body to absorb the impact and bring me to a stop.

Running race (Midland Track League) 4:21 [3] 1.5 km (2:54 / km)

Gloucester. 1500m. Good to finally overtake an old pb but overall didn't feel like I was working ever so hard, out of practice and haven't been training great. Good running in the group until the last 400. About 70s most laps, almost 72 on the last which I didn't have anything for. Was very fun to be doing some track again and definitely keen for more. Think it's a month to the next one.

A bit over half an hour later as the Telford runners were drop-outs. Running against a good chunk of the 1500 field. Probably should have been more ambitious but was happy to just stick to 80s and put more effort in on the last.

Another quality tiny OD area. Who knew. So much fun just pacing it between controls. Shame they ran out of green maps so had to run short green, and dowload wasn't working, then a older competitor went AWOL so spent a while searching for someone who was actually on the way to the pub.

Good control flow and was keen to read descriptions. Need to buy a new compass. Ankle coped but should have taped it.

6 * 800m off plenty of rest. Despite not realising it was intervals in the morning I got well psyched up for it. But clearly was pretty tired from the weekend and was low on speed. Running 1'29"s-1'23" behind Jonathan Hockey.

Orienteering race (Tamar Triple Mt Edgecumbe) 39:59 [3] 5.8 km (6:54 / km) +300m 5:29 / km

Went out fast and twisted my R ankle leaving number 2, was hard but didn't hurt too much. Didn't spike #3. Was feeling the fast start to 6 and wasn't thinking fully about the legs so drifted off 6, 7, 9 losing a few seconds. Lost minutes at 11. From there was just running more slowly and a bit un-smooth. Ran to a carrier bag and a different knoll by some green at 18 and dived off the wrong path at 19. Gone by the fields at the end.

More fitness reqd.
