Running race (Ripon Jolly Holly Jog 10k) 35:27 [3] 10.0 km (3:33 / km) +116m 3:21 / km

Great lovely multi-terrain route to Studley Deer Park and back. Actually ran quite well compared to my usual 10k performances. Wasn't really sure of the competition or how to race it but followed some fast guy from Leeds until Mackershaw Gate. Lost quite a distance quite quickly down the field and was being passed by third on the climb out of the car-park but had no problem sticking with him to the top of the hill. Took a drink and lost concentration near the house and lost touch with him. Okay until the crossroads but then slowed on all the flat and didn't see ahead until the fields at the end. +1.15.

Pleased to finally get my PB below a semi-respectable 36mins and now 34 looks doable with some better organised training compared to recently. Still not great times and need to get my 5k times down.

Christmas challenge to Wormald Green and back. Fraser handicapped by having to find and unlock a bike before setting off. Beat him to the top and the mud was in my favour so he didn't manage to catch me on the way down.
