Note

Walk. Lanthwaite to Braithwaite via Coledale Hause. Weather was a bit minging so skipped Whiteside and Hopegill Head. Knee hurt at first but warmed-up after 10-15 mins.

Running (fell run) 35:00 [3] 6.4 km (5:28 / km) +460m 4:01 / km
(injured)

Dropped down from the Hause to opposite the Force Crag mine. Then left Abi and ran up Scar Crags, Causey Pike, Outerside and Stile End before dropping back to the valley track via a dog who wanted to run away from its owner and a splashy river crossing. Knee hurt off Causey Pike to finish.

Running (hilly run) 1:30:00 [3] 12.4 km (7:15 / km) +860m 5:23 / km

Not sure of the time. From the house in Crosthwaite, traverse under the trees below Latrigg then cut up onto the top and down to the bottom gate, then back up via the NW stream then up to the bend in the fence on the footpath towards Skiddaw before turning round and coming back straight over the top and steep down to the road back. Felt alright but struggled to push for long.

Note
(injured)

Top (thank god) of right knee started hurting at somepoint, possibly on the last descent of Latrigg. Got stiffer quickly once I stopped moving back home. Stretching and rolling required. Compensating.
