Cross Training (Race for Bristol) 1:20:00 [3]
A treasure hunt across Bristol city centre. A bit like orienteering, but with a £500 prize. In a team with John, Ali and Mark.
Started on College Green with our first clue pointing us to the remaining bit of city wall. Paced it there and found the code to release the next clue which pointed us to Cabot Circus. Got some helpful random encouragement from Keith and Tim on the way through Broadmead but spent 20 mins messing about trying to find the code in Cabot only to eventually realise we should have been at Cabot Tower instead...
Got into it after that and zigged-zag all over town ticking off Wills Mem, Christmas Steps, Millenium Sq. etc plus a 'physical challenge'. Went to about 15 checkpoints and got the Big Chill Bar to finish first.
Not orienteering, but like it, and well good fun. We didn't take it easy!

On the Downs.
Running (Long-ish run) 1:30:00 [3]
Along and back along the edge of the Downs from the Susp. Bridge. Over, then left immediately at the end of the low wall, before Burwalls, to check out a new bit of wood. Found some cliffs, a little terraced path and a cave with a guy living in it. Dropped down over the railway and along to check out the flyovers near Greville Smyth Park... Over Cumberland Basin and up the hill to Clifton.

Henleaze-Southmead-Westbury loop. Got a bit distracted exploring Westbury. Finished with a Downs circuit. Medium.
