Got home as quickly as possible, and RICE for the rest of the evening.

IMRA race, Tonlagee. Weather conditions awful. Tough route... felt like we were slogging through bog for lots of it. Should have stayed on the narrow trail at the saddle before Lough Ouler... it probably continued to the corner of the lake. Dropped to the lake and ran alongside it but it was very boggy. Reached the top of Tonlagee eventually and stupidly got excited that I could run again, so tried to descend way too quickly. Ruairi was also just ahead - should know better than to try to keep with him on a descent! Lasted a few minutes, then BANG, into the heather, sprained ankle with IOC a week away. Limped down the mountain. Felt like an idiot.
