Hospital quarantine just over a week after being in WOC quarantine - crazy. Plenty of steroids going around here!

WOC sprint relay, first edition! First leg for Irish team. Great atmosphere at the start. Probably got a bit distracted, as I turned down the wrong alley to no.1 and that meant trying to play catch-up. Playing catch-up to a very fast field, especially on a super easy course, was tough and although I tried to push it I finished quite a bit down. Maybe first leg isn't my thing, or I need to practice more for these kind of situations. Anyhow, good experience but would have liked a more challenging course.

WOC sprint qualification. I was pretty happy with this race. One bad route choice (to #16), plus a mistake on that route choice, cost me a place in the final. I was lying in 14th at that point, though truth be told, I could have done with being speedier too. The rest of the race was really good, and there are a lot of positives to take from it.
It's getting harder to qualify - in heats 2 and 3 you had to be within 110% of winning time to make the final. Heat 1 was 116%. I was 112%.
