Red course at Ansonia.

Leg feels completely fine. I now don't think I re-injured it, maybe it just got sore last week (extra weight of backpack?, elevation?, not sure). But I feel better that I might be able to have a season with it. I will keep icing it on Charlie's recommendation, just to be sure it stays fine.

The navigation was going great until I couldn't find a good attack point for control 12 and I had somewhat of a navigational meltdown. Looking back on it, I think I should have just stayed on the compass and seen the huge catching feature that would save me. It is difficult for anyone to have a perfect race, but a mistake like that would have no place in a competition.

Orienteering 31:43 [3] **** 2.86 km (11:06 / km) +56m 10:07 / km

Brown 1

Great weather, and fun day in the woods and seeing faces again.
