The first three hours or so was on bike, the latter three on foot. As usual, I was more ambitious than what I could actually accomplish. There were some misplaced controls for sure. Also the map had some contours that I did not agree with. I got a little lost trying to find 17. I came at it from the east and took a bearing as it was really flat going in. I am pretty sure I hit the marsh and then kept it on my right going into the control. Then at one point the marsh seemed to turn in a direction that I did not expect and I never saw the control. It wasn't making sense so I bailed out by taking another bearing to the west to a trail. I maybe could have gotten another control in the 15 to 20 minutes I had left, but I decided not to risk being late as there was a stiff penalty. I had a good time, despite the challenges.

It felt good to loosen up my legs as they are still sore from this weekend.

Trotting around Boston on a warm and dry day. I did the half metric marathon. This was really fun and I got to see parts of Boston I may not have otherwise, ever. Thanks Alex and Ed.
