Note

In physics, Einstein taught us the importance of relativity. Such as time dilation that occurs when measurements are made at differing velocities. While it is true that our velocities are very small compared to the speed of light and therefore Newtonian physics suffices, I can't help but not to ignore this ironic sense of relativity when I notice that my fastest pace is not quite as fast as Ian's "painfully slow" pace. To account for this relative difference, I suggest a modification to the joke: attackpoint thinks my activity is walking when I upload. :)

At least I did a workout. I wasn't feeling too good this morning, but I forced myself out anyway. It felt like I was crawling, I could barely move. Definitely off my usual pace. Hopefully I will fare better this weekend. Very muggy again as I am sure everyone is already aware. The turkey were back again this morning as well. Their growth has seemed to slow some.

Great sunrise run. I could get used to this, cool and dry. Of course that means I'll be running in the dark soon. If I had a forerunner with hr data, I am sure that you would see a spike in my heart rate as I passed a particular house. And it wasn't because I suddenly decided to inject a burst of speed. The homeowner left their windows open and a large sounding dog burst into barking just as I passed the house. It sounded like he was instantly on top of me. Curiously, no noise en route back. They must have closed the window after that, I suspect. It was really neat to see a layer of fog hovering just above the field on Wells Rd.

Humidity galore. My calves were sore during the first 20, but felt better on the last 20. I don't usually like to run through the busy sections of town, but I feel like changing it up a bit.
