Capture the flag with the kids. Sahara and I found that a very good strategy is to guard some random area where the flag is not and don't look at where the flag is. Our variation consisted of first "hiding" the flag with the rule that it must be visible. I don't remember how we played it in school, I think we knew where the flags were, though.

I listened to about 40 minutes of this podcast this morning and found it motivating. I intend to pay more attention to my self-talk before I go to train, and I also think I should really make more of an effort to get the benefits of the "social" factor that was described.

I printed a map of East Hartford and took it with me to discover a new playground that I haven't really been in much.
