Orienteering race 2:49:07 [5]

Darn missed top 23 by one spot and woah it was warm! Took it pretty slow because if I made a mistake I could have very easily gotten very confused. Shins were also hurting so I didn't want to beat on them too much, luckly it wasn't very hilly. Skipped number 18 which I think was a great choice because 17-19 was all trail running. My feet were very tired after :P

...we were not supposed to run that long. My dad sent us on a trail run and it was much longer than we expected. Ran with Anna, Kate, Rachel and Jenna but I had to stay back with Jenna because it was kind of hard for her. Allergies are pretty bad now. :/

Ran eh. I had a great first 3 laps and was in the lead with a gap...I died though and ended up in 5th. :/ I definitly could have won which is a really stupid feeling to have after a race. All of my water pits were garbage, I didnt attack them at all and landed on 2 feet which I never do. It was a fun race in a weird way because it went off at around 10 so we were running under the field lights and there was literally 60 people lining the water pit, watching. That was stressful. One kid was standing there with a lifeguard saving device thing and a whistle lol. Felt much better than yesterday but still not 100%. I tried to hydrate all day after throwing up quite a lot yesterday.

Ran in the trails around the school, it was really dark haha. I also have to figure out what to do with my flats when I run steeple because my toes bleed like crazy because of them.

Felt really nauseous about an hour after I got home yesterday even though I felt fine during practice and in school. Went to sleep at around 9 (which btw is really early for me of all people) and woke up feeling horrible,I tried to eat breakfast but then I threw up so I'm just gonna chill and hope it's a quick bug that goes away. We have a meet tomorrow and I'm supposed to run steeple.

Didn't run because my shins have been hurting a little but they are better than last week so I just wanted to be safe. I was supposed to do a hard 1200, jog 100m, hard 400 and then jog 5 minutes 3x. So I did 4:28 hard, 1 min easy, 1:08 hard, 5 min easy 3x. Then I rounded out the time by going to 45
