I have returned once again.
Training has been on the low/easy side for the past few months. I had reconstructive wrist surgery in January and I'm still in a cast, so that means my training is a bit limited atm... and no riding for a long while. Should be about 5 more months until I can ride my bike again in comfort. I still have to be very careful doing regular day things like holding or picking things up, putting clothes on, blah blah blah because one wrong movement and I'm in pain. Also anything that requires a lot of arm movement is off the table; I learned that the hard way when I tried practicing a choreographed dance for an event on campus. Definitely a slow, but steady recovery. For now I've been training with our cool, new, shiny cycling team on campus doing stationary bike stuff and core. I won't be able to race with them which is a bummer but I'm going to be the best support team ever! Excited that we have a great group of people to train and ride with :)
