5x (2 on/ 1 off, 1 on/ 1 off) on the trails at SUNY Canton with Lisa, Megan, Ashley and Elina. The older girls are a bit faster than us, which is expected, but Elina and I did a good job trying to stick with them.

First race as a collegiate runner! went out hard, took the second mile "easy" and did a bit of a tempo again for the third mile. Ran with Elina the whole time, nothing new there. Finished as our fifth runner so that's a good sign that the rest of the season will go well. Lots of big plans for the season

4x 1 ish mile repeats around the fields. Started off running a bit too fast for the pace we were supposed to run. oops. Coach actually told us to slow down, that's a first! Pace was supposed to be between 6:15 and 6:25. Ended up with 6:03, 6:12, 6:17, 6:19

Note

Wrist that I fell on my biking accident in June has been hurting a lot recently, most likely due to the strength exercises we've been doing. Went to the trainer and he said it's probably a strained muscle that still hasn't healed. Gotta ice and do some exercises and hopefully it'll get better soon.

Our camp is on upper saranac lake so we all went on some kind of a water craft (or swam) to some islands and jumped off some cliffs. Safe stuff. Then had the "Wacky water relays" where we had to do some different water relay race things. Really fun day
