It has been raining so much here (in Finland) so it made orienteering pretty interesting. We went to a small local meet in Tervo set up by Lohimaan Rasti. There was a lot of squishy and wet moss, but it was fun. Hopefully we will go again near Joensuu.

We were supposed to run 6 miles easy for 48 min. We pretty much came in on time. Every one else did 4 miles.We started at the high school and ran through the pines to mile road. Then we turned to the robbinhood loop and then ran to the middle school. At the middle school we ran around the fields twice and then ran to Mayer and down East Mayer to mile and back to the high school. We started with six girls, but two of them had to leave half way to go to work. We also ran past our house and one girl wanted to run through our sprinklers...so we did :)

It was burning hot today, even at 7:30 in the morning, felt like it was in the high 80's. We did mile repeats on the fields at our school, which includes a very large hill that we needed to run down (which was okay) and then run back up (which was not very pleasant).

Helped out at the track camp again. They had their first race today against another group of kids. I was mostly writing down the results of each race which became quite crazy twords the end since there were a lot of different results coming in at the same time. Luckily I had Elina to help me.

First day of cross country practice so we were running slow. It was hot but fun. I have a feeling this season is going to be really good but also harder with more competition. I guess we will find out.

Went mountain biking at a park near stewart airport. They have a lot of trails so it's a fun place to go.
