Woke up at 6 to go to a track meet. This was the first year that they had this particular meet so the organization was kinda sloppy...thought I was going to race around noon, ended up racing at 5. Spent the whole day outside in the heat. Not ideal but I managed.

First track race in 2 years. Coach said my goal was to win so I didn't have to think about times or split. He also said it would probably be at my tempo pace...which it was. Plan was to stay on whoever was leading the group and then kick the last 80. Executed the plan perfectly and managed the win which was cool. Time was really slow and the other girls that I was running with weren't very good at pacing so the race was a bit all over the place. Felt like I could have dropped 15 seconds off my time easy. Still happy because Coach was stoked. The other two UWI athletes also ran really well. Good day for our tiny little team.

Woke up late, drank coffee (without sugar) for breakfast, spent the whole day staring at my laptop coding for a project due Friday, literally didn't eat anything all day, had 1 small granola bar before I ran, obviously felt like poo poo because my blood sugar levels were non existent. I get frustrated with myself when I do stuff like this. Don't forget to eat!!!!! Your workouts will be sub par if you don't.
