Was supposed to do a swim workout but the pool was closed so instead Drake and I did strength stuff in the gym. Arms were pretty tired. Also my ankle has been a bit swollen/painful for the past week so that's why I haven't really been running. I think it's from the uneven grass track surface.
Long run day. First 30 minutes were by myself because I had to leave early, then Drake joined me for the second half. Surprised by my pace. Temps were nice today- mid 70s with relatively low humidity.
Track workout (cool down included) with my new friend Drake, he's another distance runner at UWI. 9x400 at 85. He's also a PE student so he had some good advice and it was nice running with someone else. I have a feeling we'll be doing some good workouts together
