Quick daylight racer ride at Newberry. I did the standard route. I rode the lollipops in the clockwise direction. Only one dab on Gearjammer and Strange Days. It was getting hard to see in the woods at the end. It was a nice ride.
I put out the final 8 flags in about 40min as well as vetting 5 other controls. After that I went out to vet some other flags that Brett set yesterday as well as one that was pretty close to the trail. All was good.
Course setting at Ft. Ebey. We got 30 controls placed out of the total of 38. I saved the high visibility ones for the following morning. Beautiful day to be in the forest.
Day 2 at Mission Ridge. Kiddos were skiing great. I was able to get some steeper stuff in while breaking off and meeting back up periodically on the run. Good day.
Day one at Mission Ridge. There was around 6" of new snow so it was pretty packed on the mountain. The skiing was good but mostly stuck with the kiddos.
Finally got back out on the MTB after work. I did a quick spin at Newberry hitting my usual loops. Took the POV camera so we'll see if anything interesting comes of that.
5 PM
Rowing (erg) 25:00 [3] 3.0 km (8:20 / km)
I still had some time to kill so went over to the YMCA and got on the erg. Did a 5min warmup followed by some pic drills for warmup. I then did 5x (500m by 1min recovery). Felt pretty good.
Followed the rowing club workout tonight: 5min warmup then some pic drills and rate build. I then did 3 x (3min @ 30-28-30 stroke rate with 2min recovery). Then 5min cooldown.
5min warmup and then I did 8x 500m with 1min rest in between. I started getting a foot cramp near the end of the workout so the final few had 2min recoveries to try and work out the cramp. As a comparison I was rowing each 500 in around 2:15 which is about 25sec longer than I would do on a Concept erg.

4. Finish the P to O Adventure (Late June/Early July)
5. Bikerafting loop from E-burg into the Yakima canyon (March/April)
6. Maybe some Gran Fondos or MTB races?
