One CW loop around Liberty Bay. I got on the water before most of the boaters woke up. The bay was pretty full of anchored boats. Nice morning paddle. I felt much better than the time before after the long paddle.

Paddle with Glenn from the Foss start to Southworth ferry. We had calm weather for the first ~7mi although there was quite a bit of boat chop on the water. Then we had a decent head wind for the rest of the trip up the Colvos.

One extended CCW lap on Liberty Bay. I did not feel good at all this morning. Maybe it was being the morning or maybe I just needed more shakeout time from the long paddle last Sunday. I was hoping to get some shorter paddles in this week, but today was the only day that worked. Hopefully my body will be good to go for Sat.

Paddle with Glenn from Kingston to Port Hadlock. We hit the narrows about 1hr after slack and had a bit of a flood tide to work against, but it wasn't bad. From Kingston to foulweather we had a nice push with the ebb.

We had six tonight so I rowed in the #4 of the 8. I felt like I was doing better on getting the arms extended on the recovery. My timing seemed pretty good. Now I really need to work on my posture while rowing and get a flat back.

CCW paddle in Liberty Bay. The wind was pretty strong so it made for a pretty gnarly paddle. It was a strong wind coming out of the south-SW so I had to start off right off the bat in the big chop. I made it across the bay at the north end and got to the west side where it was more protected. It was slow going up-wind and I added on a bit into the bay on the east side of VA pt. There was some strong gusts that pretty much put me at a stand still. Once I turned around I had a good push across the bay to Lemolo and then had to once again cross some heavy chop to get to the take-out. I made it.

On water session on a great evening. I rowed at #2 in the four. It was an all guys crew with the three others being all over 25years older than me. Somehow, I was the one that was hurting the most :). I think I just need to relax more and get comfortable. I need to work on my posture and relax shoulders. Lots to work on. There were some good moments out there though.
