5min warmup running in the pool followed by 8x (2:00 hard by 1:00 recovery). After that I swam a couple of laps for cooldown and did some treading with the brick.

Ride at Newberry. It was about 35 degrees and rainy and I was soaked to the bone when I was done. There was still some snow/slush on the open areas of the roads/trails so that was kind of fun to ride in. Nice and muddy when I finished up.

Open stride elliptical. It's really hard for me to feel like I get much of a workout on these. It's hard to get good turnover. It's low impact which is good, but I feel like I get more out of other low impact activities. I guess it's good for a recovery day activity and it gets motion in my joints which is supposed to aid cartilage recovery.

Indoor rowing. I did 8x 500m w/ 1min recoveries. Most of my 500s were right around the 1:52 mark. Pushed pretty hard.

It looks like my last o-race according to my training log was the corn-maze-O in Oct. 2014.

Orienteering race 51:13 [4] 5.3 km (9:40 / km)

WIOL #3: Shoreview park. First time doing a o-race for a couple of years. Little bit rusty but not too bad on the nav. Physical side was not good at all, but that was expected. "You get what you pay for" and there have been no deposits in this bank for a long time. We will see how the knee is tomorrow. Knee wasn't too bad out there but I had to go real easy on it esp. On corners and downhills. Fun to get out, but not like the old days.
