Road Running (commute/flat) 30:29 [3] 4.5 mi (6:46 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel 1120

Run into work via the bike path. Had a pretty full pack. Cold and foggy and dark.

Road Running (commute) 36:21 [3] 4.0 mi (9:05 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel 1120

Run back to the car from work via the pipeline. Pretty cold out, but it was a good hilly workout.

Biking (road (commute)) 1:10:00 [3] 16.0 mi (4:22 / mi)
shoes: Jake The Snake

Ride into work from the ferry. Woke up to a flat rear tire, so I pumped it up quickly before leaving the house figuring I could change it on the ferry if need be. It turned out to be a slow leak, so I rode it about 2/3 of the way and had to stop for a pump up. By the time I got to work it was running low again, but I made it.

Biking (road (commute)) 1:15:00 [3] 16.0 mi (4:41 / mi)
shoes: Jake The Snake

Ride back home to the ferry. I bonked pretty hard at the end due to lack of food (I should have ate more for lunch).

Orienteering race 37:08 [4] 5.4 km (6:53 / km)
shoes: NB 720

I was a bit frusterated when I finished today. I was having a pretty good run until 18-19-20. In fact I was in third at 14. I didn't have major problems with 18, but I got stuck behind some slow people going down the steep trail. 19 seemed misplaced to me and looked like it should be off the trail (also the description sheet didn't specify which side of the rootstock). Going to 20 I followed the pond and went up the last trail, but the trail was closed and I lost some more time going over downfall and through berries. I though the controls were too easy, but the large number of them made it more challenging. I really enjoyed the course in this park two years ago and was a little disappointed this year. But as always it was still fun. Sixth place, but should have been 3rd or 4th.
