Road Running 48:25 [4] 7.0 mi (6:55 / mi)

Ran double loop tonight up radio hill both times. Felt kind of slow, but kept a good pace going. Most of the snow finally melted off, so it was good get on the roads once again.

Rock Climbing (Bouldering/Top Rope) 2:00:00 [3]

Had a pretty good climbing session tonight. Did some bouldering to warm up while I was waiting for the rest of the crew. Climbed severl 5.9 - 5.10b tonight. Felt good. Did 3min of abs after.

Wednesday Nov 29, 2006 #

Raquetball 1:00:00 [2]

Played a few games with BB tonight. Lost all, but I will get him next time.

Road Running (Gerbal Style) 15:00 [3] 2.0 mi (7:30 / mi)

Ran 2mi cooldown on the treadmill after raquetball. I hate those stupid machines.

Strength 20:00 [3]

Did some leg resistance as well as lat-pulls, abs/core, and dips.

Rock Climbing (Top Rope) 2:00:00 [3]

Climbed several 5.9s tonight aand on-sighted all. Climbed a couple of 5.10b's as well. Felt good tonight climbing, but I don't like my new shoes very much. They are too big and don't allow me to feel the wall very well. Oh well, they were cheap and I can get another pair. My hand slipped off a hold tonight and I scraped my left fingers pretty bad, so I'm not happy about that, but a good session of climbing neverless.

Road Running 32:19 [4] 4.7 mi (6:53 / mi)

Ran up to the XC course and around. Felt pretty slow today and the wind was blowing pretty hard. I saw a huge hawk that was hunting over the sage. It was pretty cool to watch.

Road Running 35:06 [3] 5.0 mi (7:01 / mi)

Ran the Golden Gardens loop tonight. Felt pretty good tonight although I didn't have my headlamp so the trail running was a little sketchy in the dark.

Rock Climbing (Bouldering) 2:00:00 [3]

Did some bouldering at the gym after my run. Did ok tonight mostly on V1-V2s.

Road Running 34:15 [4] 5.0 mi (6:51 / mi)

Easy run: Ballard loop up the hill from Golden Gardens. Nice evening for a run. Felt good.

Rock Climbing (Bouldering) 2:00:00 [4]

Did our own personal comp today from the bouldering routes set-up for the comp from yesterday. I did ok, scoring just under 1400. I think I only got two routes at the 300 level all the rest were at the 200 level. I attempted some other 300 routes that I will bag next time. Pretty fun evening of climbing.

Road Running 56:40 [3] 8.0 mi (7:05 / mi)

Easy run through Discovery. Took my headlamp, so I could run the trails. Kind of cool with all the leaves on the ground. Felt good today despite standing up all day long. Nice relaxing run.

Thursday Nov 16, 2006 #

Road Running 26:26 [3] 3.5 mi (7:33 / mi)

Easy run around base tonight. One lap including radio hill. Felt really slow and tired today. Not a very good run.

Rock Climbing (indoor (top rope)) 1:45:00 [2]

Pretty bad day of climbing. Felt tired today. Climbed mostly 5.9-5.10a.

Monday Nov 13, 2006 #

Road Running 37:35 [3] 5.0 mi (7:31 / mi)

Ran a new loop today. Took the North Beach trail system, but found out that it doesn't really go anywhere. Worked my way out of the valley and up onto another road. Had to walk some of the trail due to fallen trees and nasty mud. Still fun to get out and explore...

Biking race (cyclocross race) 32:00 [5]

Rode in the Kitsap Fairgrounds race today. Very small turnout today that was rather disappointing. Placed 3rd today out of three riders. It was a fun course, but I went out a little hard on lap one. I settled down, but got pretty tired on the last two laps of the 5-lap race. Pretty nice sunny weather, a little breezy but it was a good day for a race.

Biking warm up/down (cyclocross) 30:00 [2]

Warm-up for the race.

Friday Nov 10, 2006 #

Rock Climbing (Bouldering) 2:00:00 [3]

Climbed several V-1s today. Felt really good. I had a good day in the gym.

Thursday Nov 9, 2006 #

futbol (game) 45:00 [2]

Played some futbol tonight. I'm not very good at that game but I can run, so it's all good...

Wednesday Nov 8, 2006 #

Road Running 35:16 [4] 5.3 mi (6:39 / mi)

Double loop around base tonight (one time up radio hill). Picked up the pace pretty good for the last mile or so. Felt pretty strong tonight. Slight rain came down on me just as I was heading out. It was a dry day for once up until my run though (go figure)....

Strength (Weight Reps) 30:00 [3]

Did some leg and arm resistance training at the gym after my run. Did 10 reps for each lift.

Tuesday Nov 7, 2006 #

Road Running 36:07 [3] 5.3 mi (6:49 / mi)

Esay double loop around base (one time up radio hill). Felt pretty smooth today and just cruised. Had to stop and take a dump in the middle of the run though (Luckly I just stopped by a washroom as the Canadians would call it :)

Rock Climbing (Bouldering/Top rope) 2:00:00 [2]

Did a few bouldering routes to warm up and then climbed about 6-7 routes. Mostly 5.10a and one 5.10b. Pretty good day of climbing, but I didn't push too hard. I never got pumped either.

Strength (Abs) 3:00 [5]

Chinese torture ab workout after climbing.

Monday Nov 6, 2006 #

Road Running 23:34 [4] 3.5 mi (6:44 / mi)

Ran a slightly higher tempo lap around base tonight. Went up radio hill. I ran the opposite way tonight since the wind was really blowing I wanted to go with it on the exposed half. Felt pretty good today although my knee still has a slight pain particularly during downhills. It's not bad, just not 100% yet. Crazy stormy day out there.

Sunday Nov 5, 2006 #

Rock Climbing (Bouldering) 1:30:00 [3]

Tried to climb several V-2s today, but was feeling pretty tired. Didn't really have a great day of climbing, but it was fun as always.

Saturday Nov 4, 2006 #

Orienteering 26:07 [4] 3.21 km (8:08 / km)

WIOL #1: Had a very poor day today. Didn't really concentrate on a very easy course. Made two huge mistakes which pretty much took me out of the running. It seems the faster I try and go the worse it gets. Next meet I'm going to slow down and focus more when it gets more difficult.

Thursday Nov 2, 2006 #

Road Running 25:02 [2] 3.5 mi (7:09 / mi)

Easy run around base in a dounpour. Bring on the tripple D's: Dark, Damp, and Dreary.
